When Fashion Meets the Canvas: A Debut at the London Asian Art Exhibition
For the first time, Grace participated in the London Asian Art Exhibition as an artist, unveiling a fresh perspective where fashion meets art. The highlight of her debut was the creation of three captivating handbag series titled Moments, Our Melody, and Wonderland, each inspired by the classic oil paintings of her mother, the artist Wang Chen Ching-Wen. These pieces embody a graceful dialogue between heritage and contemporary expression.

In her mother’s paintings titled Calm Waters, Realm, Rhythm, and Stream, Grace perceived the tenderness of time and the depth of emotion. She translated their colors, brushstrokes, and imagery into a design language that breathes life into leather. The Moments collection, inspired by Calm Waters, features a refined interplay of leather and suede, layered hand-pleating, and a metal chain strap that embodies Grace Han’s signature craftsmanship and timeless elegance.

The Our Melody collection is a reimagining of the brand’s iconic Love Letter handbag. Wrapped in transparent nylon mesh, the classic envelope silhouette evokes the image of a small hand gently held within a larger one, expressing the profound bond and quiet protection between mother and daughter.
The Wonderland collection draws inspiration from the painting Stream. Its flowing blue print, reminiscent of water in motion, is applied across three miniature bag styles: a top-handle, a chain clutch, and a classic flap. Together, they capture the soft glow of a dreamlike journey.
This marks not only Grace Han’s debut as an exhibiting artist, but also a moving dialogue about love, memory, and creative expression. Through these three collections, Grace extends her mother’s artistic language into fashion, transforming each handbag into a tender continuation of emotion and a tangible poem of the heart.
